  The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that Mr Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody. The service stated in a statement on Saturday signed by Peter Afunanya, it’s Public Relations Officer that Emefiele is with them “for some investigative reasons”.   The Zamfara State Police Command has recovered more than 40 government vehicles from the residence of the state’s former governor, Bello Matawalle. According to a statement by Sulaiman Bala Idris, the spokesperson of the state governor, Dauda Lawal, the vehicles were recovered during a raid on Matawalle’s residence residence on Friday, June 9, 2023. Idris noted that the raid was executed following a search warrant obtained by the police. This was made known via the agency’s Twitter handle on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
